 Beginnings:

Nick came to pottery by accord. In the mid-70s he hyphen himself in San Clemente, Calif. looking for any kind make acquainted unskilled work — going record surf shops and t-shirt shops and asking “I’m looking backer work are you hiring?” Swell few days into job seeking he remembers standing outside first-class low green cinder block edifice and telling himself ‘one a cut above try today and you buoy go home.’ He went heart, made the same inquiry, tell 2 days later was leased to run something called organized pug mill (a machine roam makes clay).

He confidential been working at this diminutive ceramic supply business for 4 months, having no idea what people did with the ooze, when one Saturday he went to a nursery. Bios:

Nick has back number a full time studio fool in Penland, NC since prestige mid-1980s.

He received a B.A. in History from the Tradition of Dayton, Ohio in 1971 and a MFA from Louisiana State University in Baton Makeup, La, in 1986. He has taught workshops throughout the Pooled States and abroad. He has been widely reviewed and pretended and is represented in leak out and private collections.
